A major part of campus philosophy is sustainable living and we expect that the participants will help keep our footprint small. We are located in a village and concerned about our credibility amongst the local community.
- Intoxicants: The campus is a vegetarian, no-drinking and no-smoking zone. We request you to abstain from using intoxicants on the campus as well as in public spaces in the village.
- Waste Management: The use of non-biodegradable products and packages is discouraged. However, if someone brings such product inside the campus, they are expected to take it back with them and not dump it anywhere on the campus.
- Volunteer: The participants are encouraged and expected to spend 1 hour (in morning or evening) everyday as Shram daan in campus. They can help in the kitchen, farms, gaushala or spend time with kids in Udaan Learning Centre. The participants are expected to clean the dorm, bathrooms and toilets themselves. Mostly, participants divide themselves in groups and take turns to do the work.
- Kitchen: All participants are expected to follow the kitchen time-table. The schedule of the program is also prepared according to the kitchen timings. The participants are expected to clean their utensils themselves.
The kitchen timings are mentioned below:
Breakfast : 8:00 – 9:00 AM
Lunch : 1:00 – 2:00 PM
Dinner: 7:00 – 8:00 PM
*Tea time is as per program requirements
