When my friend told me about Sambhaavnaa, I chose the Tribal Rights internship and, thankfully, got selected! What I had expected is mild awareness talked about by people who talk more and do less. What the truth was, was surprising. The days in Sambhaavnaa would begin with doing- which set the tone for the rest of the day- which was thinking and talking and debating. My one-month internship, followed by the presentation, was enlightening, to say the least living with tribals and sharing both our similarities and differences, helped me grow as an activist, hence as a human being.
