सामाजिक परिवर्तन में कार्यरत युवाओं के लिए कार्यक्रम

1–10 दिसम्बर 2017

 

संभावना संस्थान पिछले चार सालों से युवा कार्यकर्ताओं के लिए राजनीतिक शिक्षा का यह कार्यक्रम आयोजित कर रहा है। इस वर्ष का  यह कार्यक्रम 10 दिवसीय होगा| यह कार्यक्रम उन युवा साथियों के लिए है जो पूर्णकालिक रूप में कम से कम ३ वर्षों से किन्ही सामाजिक कार्य में जुटे हुए हैं।

कार्यक्रम के बारे में 

सामाजिक बदलाव और बदलाव की राजनीति में भागीदारी की प्रक्रिया जटिल है । आज के राजनीतिक माहौल में कार्यकर्ताओं के सामने कई चुनौतियां हैं – समाज में उदासीनता और बढ़ती असहिष्णुता; ‘विकास’ के नाम पर संसाधनों का बढ़ता निजीकरण और केंद्रीकरण; लोकतान्त्रिक प्रक्रियों की घटती जगह और जाति, धर्म, वर्ग और लिंग आधारित शोषण के पेंचीदा अंतरसंबंधों का जाल – ये सब नई  मैदानी उलझनों और सवालों को खड़ा कर रहे हैं. युवा कार्यकर्ता, इन उलझनों और सवालों का सामना करते हुए, अपने सन्दर्भ और स्थानीय मुद्दों की एक समझ बनाते हुए, सामजिक परिवर्तन के लिए प्रयोग और प्रयास करते हैं. परन्तु अक्सर यह भी होता है कि सामजिक परिवर्तन के काम में लगे हुए  कार्यकर्ता अपने काम और परीस्थिति में इतने व्यस्त रहते हैं कि उन्हें व्यापक राजनीतिक – आर्थिक – सामजिक मुद्दों का गहराई से अध्ययन करने, और उसे अपने काम में शामिल करने  का समय या मौक़ा ही नहीं मिलता। इसी समझ को सांझा कर के परखने और विकसित करने की प्रक्रिया है यह कार्यक्रम जिसका नाम है, बुनियाद।

  • क्या आप एक युवा कार्यकर्ता हैं ?
  • क्या आप शोषण के ढांचागत कारणों को समझने की प्रक्रिया में शामिल हैं?
  • क्या राजनीतिक, आर्थिक और सामाजिक असमानता के अंतरसम्बन्धों को और गहराई से जानना चाहते हैं ?
  • क्या बदलाव की राजनीति में जुड़े अपने जैसे और युवा साथियों से जुड़ कर एक सांझा चिंतन करने को उत्सुक हैं?  यदि हाँ, तो बन जाइये सहयात्री इस 10 दिनों के सफर में… 

कार्यक्रम में अलग अलग स्रोत व्यक्ति प्रतिभागियों के साथ अपने अनुभव सांझा करेंगे। चर्चा के मुख्य विषय कुछ  इस प्रकार होंगे:

  • स्वयं के अनुभव, संघर्ष और चुनौतियाँ
  • जाति, साम्प्रदायिकता, राष्ट्रवाद और पितृसत्ता – आज के हालात, ऐतिहासिक परिपेक्ष, और इनका हमारे प्रयासों से लेन-देन
  • अर्थव्यवस्था, पूंजीवाद और नव उदारवादी आर्थिक ढांचे, विकास – इनके अंतरसंबंध, और इनसे जुड़े मुख्य मुद्दे
  • राज्य का स्वरुप और लोकतंत्र की चुनौतियां
  • जन आन्दोलन –  संघर्ष और निर्माण का अंतर्सम्बंध, पुराने प्रयासों से सीख, बदलाव की राजनीति में चुनौतियां, और आगे के रास्ते

10 दिन का यह कार्यक्रम ज़मीनी कार्यकर्ता को आज की  राजनीतिक, आर्थिक, सामाजिक परिस्थितियों को समझते हुए स्वयं का दृष्टिकोण स्पष्ट करने का एक प्रयास करता है . साथ ही आपस में, तथा अनुभवी कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ संवाद से सीखने, समझने और प्रेरणा हासिल करने का एक अवसर है.

कार्यशाला की शिक्षण-विधि

कार्यशाला में भाषण, चर्चा–बहस, विभिन्न सामूहिक गतिविधियों, एवं फ़िल्मों का प्रयोग करते हुए उपरोक्त विषयों पर बातचीत करी जायेगी.

भाषा – हिंदी

कार्यक्रम में शामिल होने के लिए :

  1. यह कार्यक्रम युवा कार्यकर्ताओं के लिए है – जिनकी उम्र 25 से 35 साल के बीच हो.
  2. कार्यकर्ता ने किसी सामाजिक संस्था, संगठन, जन आन्दोलन के लिए कम से कम ३ साल काम किया हो.
  3. इस बार पहले से कुछ संगठनों ने अपने कार्यकार्ताओं के लिए स्थान आरक्षित कर लिए हैं – इस लिए हमारे पास केवल १० प्रतिभागियों को आमंत्रित करने की जगह है. अत: यदि आप आना चाहते हैं तो शीघ्र आवेदन फ़ार्म भरे.

कार्यक्रम का शुल्क:

इस कार्यक्रम का पूर्ण शुल्क 4000  रुपये है | यदि आप या आपका संगठन या संस्था पूरा शुल्क अदा करने में असमर्थ है तो कुछ वजीफे उपलब्ध हैं । आर्थिक सहयोग की आवश्यकता को आवेदन पत्र में यह स्पष्ट कर दें।

स्थान: संभावना परिसर हिमाचल प्रदेश के पालमपुर के पास एक गाँव में बसा है. यहाँ प्रांगण में ही कार्यशाला एवं रहने-खाने की व्यवस्था है.

Buniyaad

A ten day program for youth involved in initiatives of social change

1st – 10th December, 2017

 

When youth engages in initiatives of social and political change, they encounter numerous questions and contradictions on the ground. In facing these ground realities, they develop an understanding of the local issues and their context. Based on this understanding, they experiment, and attempt new ways of dealing with the existing socio-economic-political-environmental problems.

However, the preoccupation with localized environments and an overload of responsibilities within the movement or organisation often prevents a grasp of the larger socio-economic-political context we are all operating in. The young worker rarely finds time to study these ‘big-picture’ issues in any significant detail – thereby not developing the capability to make connections of local issues and efforts with the larger socio-political-economic context of today.

The socio-economic and political realities of our times are highly interconnected. Issues of development, livelihood, democracy, economy, ecology, communalism, education or human rights cannot be seen as independent of each other. The belief behind conceiving a program like ‘Buniyaad’ is that, in order to be effective, any socio-economic-political intervention of today requires an understanding of all these issues, as well their linkages to each other.

Buniyaad has been conceptualised for young social and political activists who have spent at least 3 years on the field.  The program duration this time is for 10 days, and the attempt is to broaden the understanding of ‘on the field’ activists regarding big-picture issues in the social, economic, political spheres. The program offers an opportunity to be with, gain inspiration and knowledge from experienced activists. The participants also gain from sharing time and space at leisure with fellow activists working on diverse issues, across varying regions of the country.

Different facilitators, speakers and activists shall touch upon the following themes in this program:

  • Sharing of their personal experiences, journeys, struggles and challenges – along with those of the participants
  • Perspective on Economy and Ecology
    • Economies and economic systems, Capitalism, Neo-liberalism, development and their interconnections
    • The Urban poor, and the unorganized sector in India today
  • The Social context of India: historically, and today
    • The fault-lines of caste, gender, religion, region and the privileges and dis-privileges resulting from the same
    • The nature and context of the tribal struggle in India today
  • Nature of the State and the challenges before democracy in India today
  • ‘Sangharsh aur Nirman’ : Case studies of various of people’s movements in India
    • Learnings, challenges, and the way forward

The Pedagogy of ‘Buniyaad’:

The program deploys a variety of methodologies including interactive lectures and discussions facilitated by subject experts, live experience sharing by activists, film screenings and collective reflection, readings and presentations, group and individual exercises, amongst others, to enable participants to reflect on their current understanding, and help deepen the same.

Who should apply?

  1. This program is meant for young activists, social workers in the age group of 25-35 years
  2. The applicant should have worked for at least 3 years in some social organisation / people’s movement / initiative for social change
  3. The Program is in HINDI
  4. This time, most of the seats have been pre-booked by a few organizations. And thus we have only 10 open seats. In case you are interested, please apply ASAP.

Program Contribution:  The contribution amount is Rs. 4000 for  ten days including food and accommodation.  Do not let money be an impediment to applying.  Need based waivers are available. Please ask for a waiver in the application form if you feel you need and deserve it.
