‘साँझा मंच’ क्या है ?

हम जो खुद को सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता कहते हैं या जो बदलाव के लिए सामूहिक प्रक्रियाओं से जुड़े हैं, आखिर हम सामाजिक बदलाव से क्या समझते हैं ? और इस प्रसंग में हम, समूहों से  कैसे जुड़ते हैं, और उनको कैसे जोड़ते हैं? क्या बदलाव की प्रक्रिया में हम खुद के विचार और तरीके समुदाय पर थोपते हैं या हम यह मानते हैं की किसी भी समुदाय की एक अपनी समझ होती है, जो की बदलाव के रास्ते चुनने में ज्यादा कारगर हो सकती है ? हम जिन मुद्दों पर कार्यरत हैं, क्या हम उन पर एक सामूहिक संवाद खड़ा कर पाते हैं ?

समूहों के साथ  कुछ समय काम करने पर अधिकांश संवेदनशील कार्यकर्ताओं को यह स्पष्ट होने लगता है कि बिना प्रतिभागी संवाद के कोई भी सार्थक बदलाव समाज में संभव नहीं होता. कई बार ऐसी समझ होने के बावजूद भी हमारे पास ऐसे तरीके, हुनर, प्रक्रियाएं नहीं होतीं जिससे हम सामुदायिक प्रतिभागिता को अमल नहीं कर पाते।

बहुत बार, हमें समुदायों से संवाद के तरीकों की कमी महसूस होती है ! बहुत कुछ होता है जो हम व्यक्त करना चाहते हैं, साँझा करना चाहते हैं, पर कई बार हम कर नहीं पाते ! ऐसे में प्रतिभागी संवाद के हुनर हमारी मदद कर सकते हैं !

इन्हीं सवालों के पर समझ बनाने और काम करने के लिए विकल्प-क्रिया और संभावना संस्थान ने इस पाँच दिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया है !

कौन भाग ले सकते  हैं ?

ऐसे कार्यकर्ता/सहजकर्ता जो बदलाव के लिए समुदाय के साथ गहरे रूप में जुड़ कर काम करते हैं या सामाजिक कार्यों  से जुड़े ऐसे साथी जो प्रतिभागी संवाद एवं सहभागिता के तरीकों को सीखना-समझना चाहते हैं  !

कार्यशाला के सहजकर्ताओं के बारे में

 कार्यशाला का संचालन प्रबीर बोस, अंजू और विकल्प क्रिया द्वारा किया जाएगा !

अंजू सहभागी संवाद और नवीन संवाद के तरीकों की खोज करने में रुची रखती है ! वह सारे देश में समूहों और समुदायों के साथ गहन और सहभागी संवाद की प्रक्रिया से परिचित कराने के लिए काम करती है. वह पिछले पन्द्रह वर्षों से सहभागी कार्यशालाओं, सहभागी संवादी सामग्री के निर्माण, सहभागी नाटक, लघु फिल्मों का निर्माण, प्रक्रियाओं का लिखित, फिल्म, चित्र के माध्यम से दस्तावेजीकरण का बदलाव की प्रक्रिया में इस्तेमाल के लिए सक्रिय हैं !

प्रबीर बोस ने अनेकों ऐसे तरीकों की इजाद करी है जिनके द्वारा सामूहिक संवाद और कार्यशालाओं के द्वारा समुदायों द्वारा परम्पराओं और रिवाजों को चुनौती दी जाती है और सामूहिक चिंतन और क़दमों को बढ़ावा देता हो ! प्रबीर का दीवानापन नाटक की ताकत की संभावनाओं को तलाशने में है, ताकि इनका उपयोग शहरी और ग्रामीण महिलाओं आदिवासियों बच्चों किशोरों द्वारा किया जा सके ! प्रबीर पिछले दस सालों से टाटा इंस्टीटयूट में और चार सालों से आई आई एम् में नाटक कार्यशालाओं का आयोजन कर रहे हैं !

कार्यक्रम का शुल्क: पांच दिन के कार्यक्रम में भोजन और आवास का शुल्क 3500/- होगा ! वे साथी जो अभी काम नहीं कर रहे हैं और आर्थिक सहायता को इच्छुक हैं , वे कृपया अपने आवेदन में इस बात का उल्लेख अवश्य कर दें ! हम आवश्यकता के आधार पर कार्यक्रम के शुल्क हेतु आर्थिक मदद दे सकेंगे !

What is ‘Sanjha Manch’?

How do those of us who call ourselves social activists, and are engaged in collective processes with communities, view social change? How do we connect ourselves with communities and communities to the issues in this process? Do we thrust our own ideas and appraoches on the communities we work with or do we believe that the communities have an understanding which is perhaps more effective in building pathways to change? Are we able to generate a collective dialogue in the community on the issues we are engaging with?

While it does become evident to most social activists/change-makers that no meaningful change is possible without participatory dialogue and processes, we often times find ourselves ill-equipped with the tools to catalyse such participatory processes.

It is here that the skills of participatory communication could help us acknowledge the people we work with, and discover ways in which we collectively dialogue towards change. ‘Participatory communication and facilitation’ is about enabling ourselves to engage more effectively and creatively with the communities and groups we work with.

To work with some of these questions and processes, Vikalp Kriya and Sambhaavnaa Institute are collaborating to organise a 5 day program: Sanjha Manch.

Activists, change-makers, engaged with mobilizing communities for social change, and anyone else who is interested in learning participatory communication and facilitation methods.

About the facilitators

Sanjha Manch will be facilitated by Prabir Bose and Anju of Vikalp Kriya

Anju has keen interest in exploring participatory media and communication approaches, tools & methodologies. She facilitates intense and engaging participatory processes with groups and communities across the country. Over the past 15 years, she has been facilitating participatory workshops, designing participatory communication resources, practising participatory theatre, making documentary films, and documenting processes in text video & photo as a medium to enable collective critical abilities for action.

Prabir Bose has designed a range of tools, methods and communication resources for workshops, community-level processes and research that challenge the norm, provoke a rethink and enables collective reflection and action. His passion lies in exploring the possibilities of theatre for social change and has facilitated participatory theatre processes with children, adolescents, young people and women from tribal, rural and urban communities across the country. Prabir has been conducting workshops on participatory theatre for the students of TISS (Mumbai) for more than 10 years and for students of IIM (Ahmedabad) for the past four years.
