We are excited to share with you that 2023 is the 10th Anniversary of the Pahad Aur Hum program. हम बहुत ही उत्साह के साथ साझा कर रहे है कि 2023 पहाड़ और हम कार्यशाला की 10वीं वर्षगांठ है।

24th to 28th February, 2023

Over the last 10 years, Sambhaavnaa Institute of public policy and politics and Himdhara Environment Research and Action Collective curated and conducted a program Pahar Aur Hum with the youth of the Himalayan region.  We are planning a reunion of five days with the alumni of our past programs. 

पिछले 10 वर्षों से, संभावना संस्थान और हिमधरा पर्यावरण समूह ने हिमालयी क्षेत्र के युवाओं के साथ ‘पहाड़ और हम कार्यशाला’ करते रहे हैं। हम पिछले कार्यशाला के पूर्व प्रतिभागियों के साथ पांच दिनों के पुनर्मिलन कार्यक्रम की योजना बना रहे हैं।

Over the five days, we intend to do the following

 इन पांच दिनों में हम साथ मिलकर इन मुद्दों पर चर्चा करेंगे|

Sharing of alumni work and challenges faced, personal understanding of mountainous issues along with their current manifestations, and how PAH helped them in breaking pre-conceived illusions of ‘development’ and ‘progress’.  

इन 5 दिनों में हम, पहाड़ और हम कार्यशाला की प्रक्रिया की प्रभावशीलता व ऐसी प्रक्रियाओं  की वर्तमान परिपेक्ष में आवश्यकता जैसे कुछ सवालों पर पूर्व प्रतिभागियों का फीडबैक लेने के इच्छुक हैं जिससे ऐसी प्रक्रियाओं में समय के अनुसार से बदलाव कर उन्हें और बेहतर बनाया जा सके । साथ ही अपने काम को साझा करना, मुद्दों को समझने की आपकी व्यक्तिगत यात्रा सहित पहाड़ और हम कार्यशाला ने आपको ‘विकास’ और ‘प्रगति’ के भ्रम को तोड़ने में कैसे मदद की जैसे कुछ मुद्दों पर चर्चा करना भी आवश्यक है।

We will also have distinguished speakers from the region who will share their wisdom and experiences, so as to co-vision and collectively explore future actions, efforts, and struggles for a better society. 

हमारे साथ इस कार्यक्रम में हिमालयी क्षेत्र से अनुभवी श्रोत व्यक्ति भी होंगे जो वर्तमान की चुनौतियों को मद्देनजर रखते हुए भविष्य के संघर्षों के लिए सामूहिक रूप से कार्य करने के लिए अपने अनुभव भी साझा करेंगे। ताकि हम सभी संगठित होकर अपने क्षेत्रों में बदलाव का कार्य कर सकें।

We intend to make this a festival with cultural exchange, and a lot of fun and masti.   

हम इसे सांस्कृतिक आदान-प्रदान, और बहुत सारी मस्ती के साथ एक मेले के रूप में बनाने का इरादा रखते हैं।
