I arrived at Sambhaavana confused, jobless and in low spirits. I left Sambhaavana almost renewed – in high spirits, with friendships that I know are going to last a lifetime and well, with the beginning of my journey into exploring my worldview and my politics.

The good thing about both the 10-day workshop and the internship in Chhattisgarh is that none of the things I learned, heard and saw can be un-learned or unseen. Once you undergo an experience as enriching as this, it’s hard to go back to your regular life without some tweaks or at least wanting to make some. Challenging what you know about the notion of development is important not just to understand development itself, but a pre-requisite to understanding most (if not all) socio-political issues in India and around the world.
